MMA fans recently asked Colby Covington to take steps towards materializing his next fight while he reminded his fellow Americans to vote in the upcoming 2024 United States presidential election. Covington was accompanied by the ex-POTUS, Donald Trump, which clarified his political stance as well.
Covington has portrayed himself as a Trump supporter for quite some time now. He also had the 78-year-old Republican nominee visiting the T-Mobile Arena to support him for his UFC 296 title challenge against Leon Edwards.
That night, Trump left the arena amid Covington's in-octagon interview following a disappointing loss. However, the caption to the UFC welterweight's recent Instagram post showcased that he still supports Trump:
"19 days until he Makes America Great Again!! Get out and VOTE Nov 5th!!"

However, many fans asked Covington to stick to fighting and accept Ian Machado Garry's challenge. A few such comments read:
"sign Ian Garry contract"
"Bro @iangarry calling you out accept the fight"
"Stop ducking Garry"
"Trump 2024 but sign the contract to fight Ian"

The comments on Covington's post showcased that a large chunk of fans are interested in this fight. Additionally, a few days back, Dana White said in one of his 'DWCS' interviews that they were looking at "options" for Garry's next opponent, with Covington among the names:
