Following two stunning back-to-back finishes, Thai-born sensation Sinsamut Klinmee looks to add a championship to his name at ONE on Prime Video 3. He'll be taking on Regian Eersel for ONE lightweight Muay Thai gold.
In 2022, few athletes made a bigger impact inside ONE's circle than Klinmee.
The rising star went from DM'ing the organization to competing for a world title in the blink of an eye. The Thai striker is looking to make history at ONE on Prime Video 3 by becoming the inaugural lightweight Muay Thai champion. The event will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on October 22.

Klinmee is unbeaten in ONE Championship, having won his first two bouts via second-round knockout. Prior to that, the 26-year-old picked up a split-decision victory at BKFC: Thailand 1.

It comes as no surprise that 'Aquaman' has his mind set on putting Regian Eersel away before the final bell. During ONE on Prime Video 3 media day, he explained:
“In this upcoming bout, I need to be better than Regian and I am ready for the fight... Every fight is important to me. Whenever I fight, I fight to be the winner. This upcoming fight is important to me as we are fighting for the ONE lightweight Muay Thai world title belt, and I wish to knock him out in the second round.”
Interestingly, Klinmee joined the Thai Military at the age of 21 before joining the Thai Army boxing camp. In 2019, he represented Thailand during the Military World Games in Wuhan, placing fifth.
As for his upcoming opponent, Eersel is a 29-year-old ONE veteran who's been on a six-fight winning streak since signing with the promotion back in 2019. He has both kickboxing and Muay Thai experience, but has failed to finish his opponent in his last five fights.
Sinsamut Klinmee is confident as he attempts to become the very first lightweight Muay Thai champion. He'll take center stage on October 21 at the Axiata Arena in Malaysia.
