Sinsamut believes Regian Eersel will emerge victorious in his rematch against Alexis Nicolas.

At ONE Fight Night 21, Nicolas entered the main event as a sizeable underdog against then-two-sport world champion Regian Eersel. The undefeated Frenchman overcame the doubt brought on by others and secured a unanimous decision win, making him the new ONE lightweight kickboxing king.

On Friday, October 4, Eersel has an opportunity to regain his throne when he challenges Nicolas in the ONE Fight Night 25 main event. The highly-anticipated rematch is expected to be tightly contested, similar to the first five-round battle.

During an interview with ONE, Sinsamut, who has fought Eersel twice in the promotion, had this to say about Friday's main event:

"I think Regian will win for sure if he doesn't make the same mistakes as before. If he hadn’t got counted in the last fight, he would have retained his title."

ONE Fight Night 25 will air live from the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. The upcoming event headlined by Regian Eersel vs Alexis Nicolas 2 can be seen for free by North American and Canadian viewers with an active Amazon Prime Video subscription.

Sinsamut looks for his own win at ONE Fight Night 25

There's no doubt that the biggest fight for Friday's event is the main event between Regian Eersel and Alexis Nicolas. With that said, a handful of other entertaining matchups will take place earlier in the night, including Sinsamut's eighth promotional Muay Thai appearance.

Sinsamut is coming off a third-round knockout loss against Dmitry Menshikov. At ONE Fight Night 25, the 28-year-old looks to get back on track against promotional newcomer Youssef Assouik. The newest addition to ONE's lightweight Muay Thai division plans to quickly put the top contenders on notice.

Assouik is a former two-division ISKA world champion who started training in Muay Thai at fifteen years old. The 29-year-old representing Denmark and Morocco will have to be ready for a tough test in his ONE Championship debut, as Sinsamut has proven to be a challenge for anyone in the division.
