"Mike tried and failed and Jake pushed him. Mike’s getting KO'd tomorrow regardless of what people think."

The upcoming clash marks Perry's second outing in the boxing ring, having lost to Kenneth McNeil by knockout in March 2015. Paul, on the other hand, holds a 9-1 professional record, picking up three wins in as many fights since the split decision loss to Tommy Fury in February 2023.
Jake Paul claims UFC fighters are trying to assassinate him
Ever since he ventured into professional boxing, Jake Paul has ruffled a few feathers, including UFC CEO Dana White. 'The Problem Child' has built a career fighting ex-UFC fighters with upcoming challenger Mike Perry soon to join the list.
Paul's five victories in 10 professional bouts have all been registered against former UFC fighters. 'The Problem Child' went on a tirade against White and UFC fighters at the weigh-ins claiming that they are "trying to assassinate" him. He said:
"They've been trying to assassinate me. They don't want me in this sport. They hate that I run this sport, but when you try to assassinate a guy like me, it only makes me bigger. I'm on a mission from God, a mission from God, a servant of God to save this sport. And that's exactly what I will keep doing. Keep on winning, keep on fighting.’’
