The much-teased Conor McGregor vs. Logan Paul exhibition boxing match has faced a recent hurdle and has sparked fan frustration. Boxing Kingdom, which provides in-depth coverage of the sport, recently claimed that several of the supposed details about the fight that have been reported as of late are incorrect.

Boxing Kingdom took to X/Twitter to state that the McGregor bout with Paul will not take place at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, India. Moreover, a reliable source allegedly informed the outlet that the fight has neither a location nor a date. Shockingly, the $250,000,000 purse for both men is allegedly also false.

Fans were quick to flock to the tweet, forming a thread under it to share their thoughts on the entire situation. One fan even approved of the report, claiming that neither the UFC star nor the influencer boxer were deserving of the rumored $250,000,000 purse.

"Well thats [sic] good. Neither of them are worthy of that kind of purse."

Others even accused influencer boxing involving high-profile figures as a form of predetermined fighting.

"I'm not into "white collar" fighting. Especially the scripted stuff"

Another fan doubted that the matchup would happen at all.

Some, though, were confused, given that the former UFC double champion is openly using reportedly incorrect information to promote a fight that is yet to have an official announcement.

Before he was ever matched up with Logan Paul, Conor McGregor was more strongly linked to the former's younger brother, Jake Paul, who is a far more accomplished boxer compared to his sibling. 'The Problem Child' was relentless in his callouts of McGregor.

"Dear Conor, I know you told my team you would fight me at 170 lbs. That's never happening. But let's run it in MMA. No weight class. Just like how it used to be done. But you won't"

Unfortunately for him, the Irishman would often ignore or, at most, dismiss his attempts, frustrating the younger Paul brother to no end.
