MMA fans have been reacting to Khamzat Chimaev's latest training footage, which appears to show the 30-year-old gearing up for a potential title bout against Dricus du Plessis.

'Borz' looked to confirm his status as the next challenger for the middleweight title after he picked up the biggest win of his career over Robert Whittaker at UFC 308 last month. Chimaev dominated the bout from the off, immediately taking 'The Reaper' down before eventually locking in a face crank submission for the first-round victory.

Following his win, it's expected the UFC will soon announce a title fight between himself and du Plessis to take place next year. While nothing has been confirmed, it appears as though Khamzat Chimaev is readying himself for the challenge after he shared a training video on social media.

Khamzat Chimaev reveals Dana White's response to his DM following Donald Trump's election win

Khamzat Chimaev recently shared some details about how he congratulated Dana White and Donald Trump following the latter's U.S. election win.

Earlier this month, Trump was officially confirmed to have won the presidential race and will once again assume office next year. Throughout the 78-year-old's campaign, Dana White featured heavily due to their friendship, even speaking at rallies and introducing Trump on stage multiple times.

After Trump learned he won, Chimaev congratulated the UFC CEO for the election win. He has since revealed what he sent to White and the response he got.

Speaking in a recent interview with Red Corner MMA's Adam Zubayraev, 'Borz' said:

"Well, I congratulated Dana White. As far as I know, he’ll get some [official] position... I heard he’ll get a good position up there. I'm happy for him. A man who used to work in a hotel served the guests, and he achieved such great success in life. He gives motivation to people."
