Young phenom Smilla Sundell is ready for a new Muay Thai division, but not until she donned the four-ounce gloves for the last time as a former ONE women's strawweight Muay Thai world champion.
'The Hurricane' was forced to vacate her championship belt after she missed weight for her supposed title fight against Russian contender Natalia Diachkova.
But the fight was still played in a catchweight of 126.5 pounds at ONE Fight Night 22 on May 3, where Sundell scored an impressive second round TKO.
She shared her experience in her personal YouTube channel, where she quickly praised the Russian:

"Yeah, she's a good fighter, tough for sure. And when I leave this weight division, she will, for sure be top there. I think I only got one more fight in there. Yeah, I just want to leave the belt on my own. Yeah, on my terms."
Sundell added her thoughts on her moment of victory:
"Here, if she would have gone down, she would have gotten an eight count, but she went into the ropes. So the fight could have gone another round if she didn't go into the ropes and went down to her knees instead, then there’s me, what, what was going on? And then I just jumped."
