For Kade Ruotolo, social media is not everything compared to what he's had in life.
The ONE lightweight submission grappling world champion and MMA star took a hiatus from his social media, a move that made his manager pretty upset.
However, he knew that he needed to do this in order to increase his quality of life and focus more on what matters, such as training ahead of his world title defense against Mikey Musumeci at ONE 168: Denver, on September 6.

Speaking in an interview with The MMA Hour, the young prodigy mentioned that he's been off from social media for quite some time, and that this fact made his manager upset:
"Yeah, it started, I think it’s been three months now actually. It keeps building, but I just realized that there’s so much of my stress in life which was coming through my phone. The only reasons why I would I get stressed out ever really would be because of whatever priority or whatever stress was going through my phone."
He continued:
"My manager hates me for it, but I just try to screen as much as I can as far as like. I just pick quality of life really big, and it was taking up so much of my life."
