"Soon he finna be posing with no belts" - Fans react to Ilia Topuria posing with UFC BMF and featherweight titles

Ilia Topuria has gotten MMA fans talking, after the featherweight champion recently posed for a photograph holding his own title and the UFC's BMF belt, currently held by Max Holloway.

Topuria and Holloway are set to face-off for the 145-pound strap at UFC 308 on Oct. 26 in Abu Dhabi. The Georgian-Spaniard will be making his first title defense, whereas 'Blessed' is looking to continue his fine form that saw him pick up the BMF title from Justin Gaethje at UFC 300.

Ahead of their bout, 'El Matador' has opted to show off his confidence by posing for photographs with Holloway's BMF title. This isn't the first time the 27-year-old has demonstrated his boldness either, as he previously changed his social media bios to say was he was the champ before he faced Alexander Volkanovski.

Fans have since been reacting to the clip of Topuria, where it appears to have fallen on deaf ears. One fan responded:

Ilia Topuria predicts how UFC 308 clash against Max Holloway will play out

Featherweight champion Ilia Topuria has made a bold prediction in regards to how his title defense against Max Holloway will play out.

'El Matador' recently spoke to MMA Junkie's Mike Bohn, where he was asked his thoughts on Holloway and their upcoming clash. Whilst Topuria did initially start with words of praise for the challenger, he then opted to predict a violent first round finish. He said:

"I respect Max Holloway. He's been a great fighter. He gave us great fights. He seems to be a good person. I respect him but I don't know, I feel I'm way better than him everywhere, simple like that. It's gonna be a complete masterpiece, you will see. I will knock him out in the first round. There's no doubt about that. It's gonna be much easier than with Volkanovski because I consider that Volkanovski was like a way difficult matchup for me and he proved it. He beat [Holloway] three times."
