The Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler continues to be a topic of discussion, with Chandler recently taking to X to reply to a McGregor tweet with derision. Unfortunately for Chandler, the fans did not take kindly to his attempts at goading McGregor into a fight.
In short, McGregor had praised the BKFC on the social media platform, prompting Chandler to scoff at the Irishman in a clear attempt at renewing hype for their matchup, which has been nixed since their UFC 303 headliner fell apart. Until McGregor makes his octagon return, it is unlikely Chandler will ever let him go.
"Who TF is "we" - you are a suit and the ones you wear keep getting cheaper and cheaper. You'll be flipping through the clearance in no time..."

Naturally, any time anyone tries to engage McGregor on social media, it draws fan attention. Unfortunately for Chandler, it was largely negative. One fan pointed out that the three-time Bellator lightweight champion had wasted two years waiting for McGregor's octagon return.
Yet, despite Chandler willingly sitting on the sidelines, McGregor never turned up, instead pulling out of UFC 303. Thus, the fan in question believes Chandler will be better-served forgetting about the fight.
"Move on fam, u wasted 2 years for nothing. Looking forward to see you put on a show"
On the other hand, some fans referred to Chandler as bitter.
"Are we getting mean and bitter iron Mike right now."
This was echoed by another fan.
"Sour grapes ain't a good look"
More comments took aim at Chandler in a similar manner.
"Lol stay salty Chandler"

Chandler is coming off a lopsided five-round unanimous decision loss to former lightweight champion Charles Oliveira, who dominated in the pair's UFC 309 rematch.
