UFC's Spanish-language commentator Gastón Reyno has reportedly signed a deal to fight in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC). As per MMA Junkie, the former Bellator athlete is expected to make his bare-knuckle boxing debut on November 5 as part of BKFC 32.

The report revealed that the Uruguay national will be stepping inside the BKFC ring at 155 lbs, which was also his weight class in mixed martial arts. An opponent for the UFC's Spanish commentator is yet to be finalized.

Gastón 'Tonga' Reyno holds a mixed martial arts record of 9 wins against 2 losses and 2 no-contests. The fighter's Bellator record comprises 2 wins and 2 losses. Reyno has been away from active competition since 2019 owing to a knee injury. He is currently on a three-fight win streak and clinched a unanimous victory against Rey Trujillo in his last fight at Combate Americas.

According to their website, Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship is the first American promotion to hold legal bare-knuckle events in America, which hasn't been legal since 1889.

Founded by former boxer David Feldman, the promotion now has top echelon athletes like Mike Perry, Paige VanZant and Chad Mendes fighting under its banner.

Muay-Thai legend Buakaw Banchamek roped in for a special rules BKFC event against fellow Thai boxer

Muay-Thai legend Buakaw Banchmeak is scheduled to take on fellow Thai boxing legend Suphachai 'Saenchai' Saepong in a bare knuckle Muay-Thai event under special rules as part of a BKFC on March 18.

As per MMA Fighting, the promotion's president David Feldman was quoted saying:

“They’ve both had legendary careers and competed in many of the most exciting Muay Thai fights in history. Combat sports fans have always had very strong opinions about who would win, now they’re going to take the gloves off and finally settle their score.”

Last September, Buakaw Banchmeak made his bare knuckle debut in spectacular fashion with a first-round knockout over Erkan Varol in Thailand. With a mind-boggling record of 240-24-12 in Muay-Thai, the 40-year-old is considered as one of the best Thai Boxers ever.

His rival, Saepong, holds an even more impressive record of 316-43-2. He has won the prestigious Lumpinee Stadium championship, one of the sport's most prestigious honors in Thailand, five times.
