Stamp Fairtex can now say that she has kicked ONE Championship commentator Mitch Chilson in the face. Of course, that was not her intention, but that’s exactly what happened.
In a video clip uploaded to Chilson’s Instagram, he can be seen breaking down Stamp’s low kick-high kick combo. Unfortunately for Chilson, the high kick was a little too effective, sending the former ONE athlete reeling.
“That’s it! I need to start wearing headgear during these breakdowns.”

Stamp commented on the video clip, asking about the status of Chilson’s neck following the errant kick to the head.
“😂how your neck 🙏🙏🙏🥲🥲🥲”
Chilson promptly responded, saying:
“you almost knocked me out 🤕🤣”
Luckily, Mitch Chilson was able to move forward with his duties as a color commentator for ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video. The card featured a stacked lineup from top to bottom that included the return of Thai fan favorite Stamp Fairtex. Competing in her first kickboxing bout in nearly three years, Stamp scored a closely contested split-decision victory over Muay Thai sensation Anna ‘Supergirl’ Jaroonsak.
It was Stamp’s fifth victory in her last six bouts, with the lone loss coming against atomweight queen Angela Lee at the promotion’s 10th-year anniversary showcase ONE X.
Stamp Fairtex is ready for a return to Muay Thai
With Stamp Fairtex’s return to kickboxing in the books after ONE Fight Night 6, the smiling superstar is already eyeing a potential return to the world of Muay Thai, where she once reigned as the atomweight world champion. In an interview with ONE Championship, Stamp revealed her interest in returning to the art of eight limbs, assuming ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong is on board:
“Later, I think I’ll find a way back to fight in Muay Thai for fans who miss me. I hope that Chatri [Sityodtong] would allow me to come back to Muay Thai sometime next year.”
When Stamp debuted for the promotion in 2018, she immediately made history by capturing the ONE atomweight kickboxing and Muay Thai world championships in back-to-back bouts. Already conquering the world of striking, Stamp was quick to try her hand at mixed martial arts. Needless to say, Stamp’s foray into MMA has yielded exceptional results, but Stamp appears to be ready to reclaim the Muay Thai title she lost to still-reigning champion Allycia Hellen Rodrigues.
