Stamp Fairtex admitted to feeling bored at home after being sidelined with a serious injury earlier this year.
The atomweight MMA queen was double-booked to appear in two historical events at the start of the year in both Bangkok and Denver to defend her atomweight world title and challenge divisional holder Xiong Xing Nan for the ONE strawweight MMA belt.
Unfortunately, she tore her meniscus while training for her fight with former stablemate Denice Zamboanga, which completely set her back. The past six months have been difficult for Stamp, who has faced major challenges along the way, such as learning how to walk again with a bad knee. Although she's about 65% better, she has understandably grown impatient to return to the ring.
On her "Road to Recovery" docuseries this week, the Thai superstar explained:

"Now, in my mind, when I see everyone fight, when I see everyone training, I feel like I'm hungry to train again. I'm hungry to fight again. I'm really bored when I'm at my hometown."
All that Stamp can do right now is to sit back and watch her division sort itself out, as she's got no intention of freezing it into place. Currently, No.2-ranked contender Denice Zamboanga is strapping up to face Ukraine's Alyona Rassohyna for the ONE atomweight interim MMA world title, which happens to take place next Friday at ONE Fight Night 26.
The winner of this exchange will ultimately get the opportunity to unify her belt upon Stamp's return.

"I really didn't want the injury to happen" - Stamp Fairtex laments withdrawing from world title bout with Denice Zamboanga in a tearful Instagram clip
Stamp Fairtex had every intention of defending her atomweight belt this past June, especially when her initial bout with Denice Zamboanga had previously been rescheduled.
In a tearful clip on Instagram, Stamp apologized to her fans and to Zamboanga for withdrawing from the bout because of her injury.
"I'm very sorry that the match won't happen. I really didn't want the injury to happen. The injury happened during my training. My sparring partner, who is smaller than me, tried to take me down from behind. But when she tried to lift me up, my feet were still on the ground, and when she twisted me, my knee twisted too. And I felt pain."
