Stamp Fairtex believes she will hold a clear advantage in the mixed martial arts portion of her mixed-rules super fight with Anissa Meksen at ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video.
Emanating from Impact Arena in Bangkok, Stamp will compete in her home country against former seven-time Muay Thai and kickboxing world champion Anissa Meksen. However, this won’t be any ordinary matchup. The two female warriors will meet in the promotion’s second mixed-rules match, binding the worlds of Muay Thai and MMA together in one epic encounter.
With the rules alternating at the end of each round, Stamp Fairtex believes her time to shine will be in the MMA portion, where she likely holds a decisive advantage. Discussing the upcoming contest with ONE Championship, the Thai fan-favorite said:
“I believe I have practiced more than her and have more experience on the ground because I have only been focusing on MMA during the past two years. I definitely had more time to concentrate on MMA compared to [Meksen], who just started training in MMA after hearing the news about the super-fight.”

Anissa Meksen says she can hold her own in an MMA bout with Stamp Fairtex
Though Anissa Meksen is mostly known for her exceptional skills in the art of eight limbs, ‘C18’ says that she has the skills to hang with Stamp Fairtex in a mixed martial arts bout. Following her win over Dangkongfah Banchamek at ONE on Prime Video 2, Meksen revealed that she has been training in MMA for some time and is ready to show off her skills in the historic contest.
“I trained MMA for a long time now, I expect a fight so it’s good for me, it’s a good opportunity so let’s see what happens in January. I’m so happy it’s the first event we’ll do MMA and Muay Thai so I’m happy to do this.”
Meksen also made sure to take a dig at Stamp Fairtex’s dance skills in her post-fight interview, saying:
“She’s [Stamp Fairtex] a dancer, I’m a real fighter.”
Meksen’s appearance at ONE Fight Night 6 will be her fourth under the ONE Championship banner. In her previous outings inside the circle, ‘C18’ has scored decisive victories over Marie Ruumet, Cristina Morales, and the aforementioned Dangkongfah.
