Stamp Fairtex was surprised to find out she had been awarded a $50,000 bonus from ONE Championship CEO Chatri Sityodtong in her most recent outing.
The Thai fan favorite stepped into the circle with an unexpected opponent after her original competitor, Anissa Meksen, no-showed the ONE Fight Night on Prime Video 6 official weigh-ins and hydration tests. Fortunately, striker Anna ‘Supergirl’ Jaroonsak was ready to go. Inserted onto the main card, Stamp and Jaroosak delivered a high-octane three-round scrap that kept fans on the edge of their seats.
In the end, Stamp Fairtex earned the closely contested split decision and pocketed a cool $50,000 bonus for her effort. Shocked that she received the bonus, Stamp told the South China Morning Post that she is yet to determine how she will spend the money:
“I don’t know. I got no plan. It did not occur to me that I would get the bonus so I haven’t planned yet.”

Though it was her first win in the world of kickboxing in nearly five years, it was Stamp’s second straight win inside the circle. Previously, she bested Jihin ‘Shadow Cat’ Radzuan at ONE on Prime Video 2 in September.
Primarily focused on mixed martial arts in recent years, Stamp has shared her desire to return to the striking arts in 2023, potentially challenging the reigning ONE atomweight Muay Thai world champion Allycia Hellen Rodrigues or the current ONE atomweight kickboxing world titleholder Janet Todd.

Stamp Fairtex says a move to strawweight is possible
Stamp Fairtex has made her home in the atomweight division from the moment she first stepped into the circle, but a potential move to strawweight is not out of the question.
With Stamp’s recent return to kickboxing at ONE Fight Night 6, her interest in Muay Thai once again, and a potential rematch with ONE’s atomweight queen Angela Lee looming, Stamp Fairtex has more options than most.
One option that isn’t talked about nearly as much is a potential showdown with reigning ONE strawweight world champion Xiong Jing Nan. Sharing her thoughts on a possible move up in weight, Stamp said:
“I have lost weight from my hard training. It’s hard for me to gain weight to [get to the] strawweight division right now. I can eat more and make weight to fight with her, but it will make me sluggish in the circle. But if one day I feel like I’m satisfied with atomweight division, I might go up to strawweight because my body can still grow.”
