Stamp Fairtex has an easy pick for ONE Fight Night 6 main event

Stamp Fairtex made her pick between Superbon Singha Maywynn and Chingiz Allazov for ONE Fight Night 6’s main event.

The highly anticipated kickboxing brawl between the two world-class strikers, Superbon vs. Allazov, is finally coming to fruition following two postponed fights in just the last eight months.

With difficult injuries and illnesses now a thing of the past, both men are eager to settle their differences inside the ONE circle this Friday, January 13, in Bangkok, Thailand.

Ahead of the main event, former two-sport world champion Stamp Fairtex, who is also set to compete on this week’s explosive fight card, revealed her pick for the scrap.

Speaking to Calfkicksports, Stamp said:

“Of course I’m rooting for Superbon. He has trained very hard and his fighting IQ is like really great. So of course I want him to win.”

At ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video, Superbon will look to defend his belt a second time when he faces ONE featherweight kickboxing world grand prix winner Chingiz Allazov.

He intends to continue his dominance with another classic performance, especially after defeating kickboxing veteran and former Glory lightweight champion Marat Grigorian last year. The victory seems to have given the 32-year-old sensation an enormous amount of confidence and a reason to stay on top of the division.

Belarusian upstart Chingiz Allazov meanwhile, has been stirring up a storm within the division. Experiencing an incredible three-fight run to become the 2022 silver belt grand prix winner, Allazov is exactly the type of challenge Superbon needs to solidify his legacy as one of the best pound-for-pound kickboxers in the world.

Already, the most interesting thing that will happen to her is a Muay Thai vs. MMA clash with kickboxing sensation Anissa Meksen this Friday. Clearly, the imminent match against Meksen has fueled her desire to return to Muay Thai full-time.

As someone who has already tasted championship glory in the sport, Stamp Fairtex hopes to stage her comeback in the near future.

Speaking to ONE Championship, the Thai superstar revealed her plans for 2023:

“Later, I think I’ll find a way back to fight in Muay Thai for fans who miss me. I hope that Chatri would allow me to come back to Muay Thai sometime next year. And for sure, I will improve my ground game more and more, with the hope of challenging Angela Lee again.”
