Stamp Fairtex is excited to get back inside the Circle and make her US debut

ONE Fight Night 10 will be a historic event for the promotion and for Stamp Fairtex, who is scheduled to face Alyse Anderson on the card.

For the very first time, the Circle will travel to the United States for the promotion’s first event overseas. Live from Broomfield, Colorado on May 5, the night is stacked with some of the promotion’s top fighters and biggest names.

One of those is Stamp Fairtex, who will be fighting in the US for the first time in her career. In an interview with the South China Morning Post on YouTube, Stamp expressed her excitement for this opportunity:

“I’m excited because I’ll fight in the USA for the first time and first time for ONE Championship too. It’s a pretty big fight, so I’ll try to win against her and it’s also like my debut in the US.”

After her kickboxing contest with Anna ‘Supergirl’ Jaroonsak at ONE Fight Night 6, Stamp will be returning to MMA for her next fight.

Alyse Anderson is 1-1 inside the Circle, rebounding with a win in her last fight with a submission over Asha Roka after losing to Itsuki Hirata on her debut.

Stamp Fairtex congratulated Supergirl for also receiving the $50,000 bonus: “I’m absolutely happy for her”

Stamp Fairtex and Anna ‘Supergirl’ Jaroonsak both left ONE Fight Night 6 with $50,000 bonuses for their incredible performances.

Their fight came together on very short notice after both women were scheduled to face different opponents. Stamp was originally scheduled to compete against Anissa Meksen but once that fight fell off the card, ‘Supergirl’ stepped up to the plate to take Meksen’s spot.

Both women produced a great fight for the fans on late notice that went right down to the wire. Whilst Stamp got her hand raised with a split decision win, earning her a performance bonus, many fans directed their praise at Anna Jaroonsak, who stepped in on late notice and gave a great account of herself.

Even ONE Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong acknowledged that 'Supergirl' did well enough to deserve a bonus as well. The young Thai star was awarded with her bonus while she was attending ONE Friday Fights 1 a week later.

In an interview with SCMP MMA, Stamp Fairtex said that he is happy for her opponent:

“I said congratulations to her... I was very happy for her that she got the bonus because we were in different weight classes, we shouldn’t have been in that fight together. I’m absolutely happy for her.”
