At ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video, Stamp Fairtex will be looking to put all of her skills and experience into practice. On January 13, Stamp will face Anissa Meksen in ONE Championship’s second-ever mixed-rules contest.

After dedicating herself to an MMA transition, Stamp went from a double champion in striking-only rulesets to a world title challenger in MMA.

Facing Angela Lee at ONE X, Stamp may have come up short in her bid to win a world championship in a third sport, but she wasn’t deterred from accomplishing her dream.

In an interview with ONE Championship, Stamp spoke about returning to her Muay Thai roots at some point in the future and continuing to chase down a world championship in MMA:

“I think I’ll find a way to get back to fighting in Muay Thai for fans who miss me. I hope that Chatri [Sityodtong] will allow me to come back to Muay Thai. And for sure, I will improve my ground game more and more with a hope to challenge Angela Lee again.”

In her bout with Meksen at ONE’s first event of the year, Stamp Fairtex will be able to use all of her experience to her advantage as the fight alternates between MMA and Muay Thai rulesets in-between rounds.

Her high-level experience in multiple martial arts disciplines would seem to give her an advantage against the elite striking of Anissa Meksen.

“Everyone does this”- Stamp Fairtex is unbothered by Anissa Meksen’s trash talk

Anissa Meksen has attempted to get under the skin of Stamp Fairtex by discrediting the Thai star’s achievements so far. This isn’t the first and certainly won’t be the last time that an opponent of Stamp’s has downplayed her ability in reference to her huge name in the sport.

Unfazed by everything Meksen has had to say about her, Stamp is focused on making her opponent eat her words by defeating her at ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video.

Ahead of their highly anticipated mixed-rules bout, which takes place this Friday, January 13, Stamp Fairtex is calm and collected before the storm. In a recent interview with Calf Kick Sports, the Thai superstar shrugged off the unwanted drama by saying:

“I don’t really feel anything in particular. Actually, everyone does this before testing me. So I’ll just go, and we will have a fight, and we will see.”

Stamp Fairtex cannot wait to get her hands on her opponent in this history-making showcase between the two elite strikers.

The first ever mixed-rules bout in ONE Championship took place at ONE X last March. Alternating between rounds of Muay Thai and MMA, Rodtang Jitmuangnon and Demetrious Johnson set the bar high.

As the first two women to compete in this format, Stamp and Meksen will now look to achieve their own benchmark in a fight that is sure to deliver.

North American audiences can watch ONE Fight Night 6 live on Prime Video for free with an Amazon Prime Video subscription on Friday, January 13.
