Stamp Fairtex may have walked out of ONE X in March on the losing end, but her performance went a long way to quiet the naysayers.
Stamp made history as the first fighter in ONE Championship history to carry world titles in both the Muay Thai and kickboxing divisions simultaneously. She later made a full transition to mixed martial arts and established herself as a top contender in the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix in 2021. Running through the competition, Stamp emerged as the No. 1 contender to atomweight queen Angela Lee’s crown.
The two met at ONE’s 10th-year anniversary showcase with Stamp nearly finishing things early after landing a brutal body shot that sent Lee reeling. "Unstoppable" managed to recover, making it out of the first round and turning the tables in the second, scoring her eighth career submission victory.
Despite leaving without accomplishing her goal of becoming a three-sport world champion, Stamp Fairtex held her head up high knowing that she delivered a fantastic performance against a nearly unstoppable world champion. Sharing her thoughts on the bout with ONE Championship, Stamp said:

“With my performance in that fight, I proved the haters wrong. Previously, a lot of people underestimated my MMA skills. I’ve been able to prove myself in fights and make those trolls silent. It was a great year.”
Stamp Fairtex will make history once again at ONE on Prime Video 6
Since her debut for ONE Championship in 2018, Stamp Fairtex immediately made history by capturing the ONE Atomweight Kickboxing and Muay Thai titles in her first two bouts. Thus, making her the promotion’s first two-sport champion. On January 13th, the Thai fan favorite will make history once again.
Fairtex will take part in the first-ever women’s mixed-rules bout. Alternating between Muay Thai and MMA rules, she will meet Phuket Fight Club product and seven-time world champion Anissa Meksen as part of the stacked ONE on Prime Video 6 lineup. Meksen, who has remained undefeated inside the Circle thus far, had some words for Stamp Fairtex ahead of their highly-anticipated crossover clash.
“I have 123 fights and only four losses,” Meksen said in an interview with ONE Championship. “If she [Stamp Fairtex] doesn't care about my skills, my punches, everything, she’s never faced a girl like me. Believe me, I hope she will be ready on January 13 because I will smash her for sure.”
