When Stamp Fairtex arrived in ONE Championship, she was known as a striking prodigy.
Whilst she debuted in MMA, it wasn't long before the Thai star was competing in striking-only rulesets and that’s where she truly made her name.
In her first two fights with ONE away from MMA, Stamp made history by becoming a multiple-sport world champion.
Holding the atomweight division titles in both kickboxing and Muay Thai, Stamp Fairtex was on her way to becoming a superstar and she had one goal in mind, to tick MMA off of the list as well.

Shifting her focus to the discipline she was yet to win a world championship in, Stamp nearly achieved her dream at ONE X when she met Angela Lee following her success in the women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix.
Whilst she was unable to win the world title on that occasion, it hasn’t deterred her from the task. That said, she has spoken about returning to the rulesets in which she truly made her name with ONE Championship.
In a recent interview with the promotion, she said:
“Later, I think I’ll find a way back to fight in Muay Thai for fans who miss me. I hope that Chatri [Sityodtong] would allow me to come back to Muay Thai sometime next year.”
Stamp Fairtex happy with her performance against Angela Lee despite loss
Whilst Stamp Fairtex may have been on the losing end at ONE X in March, she silenced a lot of critics with her performance.
After becoming the first fighter in ONE Championship history to carry world titles in multiple sports simultaneously, Stamp set herself another goal.
After putting on some great performances in the World Grand Prix, she was solidified as the No.1 contender for Angela Lee’s world title.
Looking to add the title of MMA champion to her resume and complete the trilogy of titles, Stamp faced Angela Lee at ONE’s 10th-year anniversary show in a meeting of two of the promotion's biggest stars.
After nearly being finished early on with a huge body shot, ‘Unstoppable’ was able to recover, make it out of the first round and secure the submission victory in the second.
Though she may have left without becoming a three-sport world champion, Stamp Fairtex kept her head held high following her performance. She shared her thoughts on the bout in a recent interview with ONE Championship:
"With my performance in that fight, I proved the haters wrong. Previously, a lot of people underestimated my MMA skills. I’ve been able to prove myself in fights and make those trolls silent. It was a great year.”
