At ONE Fight Night 6, Stamp Fairtex was scheduled to face Anissa Meksen in a mixed-rules superfight. While it would’ve been a historic bout for the promotion, Stamp vs. Meksen did not end up taking place.
Anissa Meksen withdrew from the contest on late notice due to family problems. She apologized to Stamp in an Instagram post, explaining why she hadn’t showed up to the weigh-ins.
After all of the back and forth between the two in the build-up, Stamp Fairtex wasn’t very accepting of her apology.
Stamp went on to face Anna ‘Supergirl’ Jaroonsak on late notice instead. However, before ONE Fight Night 6, it was announced that Stamp and Meksen would face off at a later date for the interim atomweight kickboxing world championship, meaning the pair are still expected to share the circle this year.

In an interview with SCMP MMA, Stamp spoke about being scheduled to face Meksen again, noting why she would rather face someone else:
“I am not really looking forward to fighting Anissa [Meksen] because I consider this unprofessional. I think for the next fight, she’ll just be unprofessional like this and it affects me badly in a negative way.”
She added:
“For Allycia [Hellen Rodrigues] and Janet Todd, I called them out because I want to reclaim my titles in Muay Thai and kickboxing.”

Fans react to close fight between Stamp Fairtex and Anna ‘Supergirl’ Jaroonsak
At ONE Fight Night 6, Stamp Fairtex and ‘Supergirl’ Anna Jaroonsak produced a close contest that is still being disputed today.
Originally, the two Thai strikers were scheduled to face different opponents. After Anissa Meksen was unable to compete against Stamp Fairtex, ‘Supergirl’ stepped in to face her in a strawweight kickboxing match on a day's notice.
The 19-year-old brought the fight against one of the biggest names in ONE Championship, forcing the contest to come down to a razor-close split decision.
Jaroonsak had a clear size advantage and she used this to back up her opponent and keep the fight at her range. Stamp attempted to counter strike her opponent off the back foot, and was awarded the split decision. Two judges scored the fight in her favor.
Whilst some fans were happy to see Stamp pick up the victory, other believed that ‘Supergirl’ deserved to have her hand raised once the fight came to a close.
Here’s how some ONE fans scored the fight:
“2-1 supergirl all day. I love Stamp but I think she clearly lost that fight, not a robbery but supergirl was the clear winner.”
“Stamp fought up and landed cleaner harder shots. Close, close fight.”
“Good fight. I was very surprised by how good Supergirl fought on short notice.”
“Was rooting for Stamp at the beginning, but I have to admit I was sure Anna won at the end of it all.”
“@supergirl_jaroonsakgym Won that! Great fight 🔥”
