From the moment she signed with ONE Championship, Stamp Fairtex has been wowing fans and making history.

In her first two promotional appearances inside the circle, Stamp captured the atomweight kickboxing and Muay Thai world championships, becoming the first fighter in promotional history to carry world titles in two sports simultaneously.

In an interview with ONE Championship, Stamp discussed her progress in recent years and is proud of what she has accomplished thus far.

“I’m proud of myself. I have come a long, long way from being an ordinary girl to becoming an idol for many people around the world right now. I’m proud of all my endeavors and efforts to overcome each task in my life until today.”

After capturing world titles in kickboxing and Muay Thai, Stamp Fairtex decided to try her hand at mixed martial arts. Stamp made a successful transition, racking up five wins before suffering her first setback. She responded by running through the competition in the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix, submitting ‘The Indian Tigress’ Ritu Phogat in the tournament final.

That victory earned Stamp No. 1 contender status and a date with ‘Unstoppable’ Angela Lee at the promotion’s 10th-year anniversary event ONE X. Stamp came up short in her first MMA world title bid to date but showed that she can hang with the absolute best in the world.

Stamp Fairtex won’t let fame and fortune change who she is

Stamp Fairtex’s meteoric rise through the ranks of ONE Championship has made her one of the most popular stars in the promotion today. Her work inside the circle, along with her popularity on social media, helped skyrocket Stamp to fame, but don’t let that fool you. She is still the same humble and fun-loving person she was while working her way towards the top:

“Although I’m famous, I’m still the same old Stamp for everyone. There’s no way I’m acting arrogantly. Everyone in the gym can slap my head like before!”

While we would not recommend slapping Stamp Fairtex on the head under any circumstances, her dance-happy personality is something that men, women, and children have gravitated towards. Being both relatable outside the cage and a total badass inside it will keep fans clamoring for more.

On January 13, that’s exactly what fans will get when Stamp returns to the circle to make history yet again. She will face Muay Thai specialist Anissa Meksen in the first-ever women’s mixed-rules bout at ONE on Prime Video 6.
