If it were up to Stamp Fairtex, the newly crowned ONE women’s atomweight MMA world champion, she would face only foreign opposition in the Circle. That being said, facing a fellow Thai athlete at the highest level could be unavoidable, especially if that Thai athlete were to keep winning and earn her spot among the elite.
Stamp, who recently became an unprecedented three-sport ONE world champion, expressed her intent to try to reclaim her world titles in kickboxing and Muay Thai. The 25-year-old, at one point, held the ONE atomweight Muay Thai and kickboxing world titles simultaneously, before surrendering both belts in a bid to pursue an MMA strap.
Now that she has achieved her dream in MMA, however, Stamp wants to return to the striking realm, where she will face a slew of new challengers, many of whom have her in their sights.
One such competitor who is on the rise is Thai superstar ‘The Queen’ Phetjeeja. Phetjeeja came to fame as a main proponent at ONE Friday Fights who recently earned a six-figure ONE Championship contract due to her incredible performances in the ring.

Many fans hope to see Stamp lock horns with Phetjeeja one day, and while the Fairtex Gym representative says she would rather not face her countrywoman, she also understands it may be unavoidable.
Speaking to Sportskeeda MMA in an exclusive interview, Stamp talked about facing ‘The Queen’ sometime in the near future.
The 26-year-old said:
“Although I’d rather compete with foreign athletes. But I understand the nature of being in this sport - you can’t escape each other. I’m sure we’ll be doing our absolute best when that day comes.”
What’s next for Stamp Fairtex? Only time will tell. One thing’s for certain though, the sky’s the limit for the Thai star. Whatever she decides to do next is going to be big.
Luckily, there are a slew of worthy atomweight contenders in all sports just waiting for her next move.
