Stamp Fairtex has some interesting thoughts on where she hopes to be in the next 5-10 years.
The Thai fan favorite is back in action this Friday night but in a recent interview with Calf Kick Sports, Stamp shared some thoughts on where she plans to be over the course of the next decade:
“In five years I think I’d still be around. Hopefully, I’ll be having three of my titles, and also I’ll be defending the titles. And also in 10 years, I would be 35 so two ways - either I’ll be a trainer in another country, or I’ll just do some gardening and not really be into martial arts.”
While we may not necessarily know where Stamp Fairtex will be in 2033, we know exactly where she will be on January 13. Stamp steps back into the circle to make history once again as she competes in the promotion’s first-ever women’s mixed-rules superfight. Meeting her inside the cage will be seven-time world champion Anissa Meksen.

Undefeated under the ONE banner, Meksen has shown little respect for Stamp’s dance-happy showmanship, but once the cage door shuts, it’ll be all business for the promotion’s first two-sport world champion. Fans in North America can catch the highly-anticipated showdown live and for free on Amazon Prime Video this Friday in U.S. primetime.
Anissa Meksen says she’s on another level when compared to Stamp Fairtex
Anissa Meksen is far from impressed with Stamp Fairtex. Meksen, who holds over 100 career wins and seven world title victories, has been beyond impressive inside the circle thus far, but Stamp will be perhaps the biggest test of her combat sports career.
Even so, Meksen stands by the comments she made to ONE Championship, claiming that she has beaten better fighters than Stamp in her career:
"For me, she's a good fighter, but not the best. I have beaten stronger athletes than her. So for me, I never underestimate my opponent. But you know, I prepare like it will be the last one. Every time. But for me, she's not the best fighter in the world. I've beaten fighters stronger than her."
Anissa Meksen will have the chance to put her money where her mouth is this Friday night as part of ONE Championship’s stacked ONE on Fight Night 6 lineup. Will Stamp Fairtex continue her dominance over the atomweight division or will Anissa Meksen establish herself as the next big female star in ONE?
