Since debuting with ONE Championship in 2018, Stamp Fairtex has become one of the promotion's biggest stars. The Thai striker has been able to show that she can be competitive at the highest level in multiple martial arts disciplines.
Not long after arriving in ONE, Stamp achieved the rare status of being a simultaneous multi-sport world champion, holding both the atomweight kickboxing and Muay Thai world titles.
Despite her new found fame as one of the biggest names in ONE Championship, Stamp Fairtex believes that she has not let it change the person that she is.
In a recent interview with ONE Championship, she spoke about staying humble and true to herself:

“Although I’m famous, I’m still the same old Stamp for everyone. There’s no way I’m acting arrogantly. Everyone in the gym can slap my head like before!”
Before her last fight, it was announced that Stamp would face Anissa Meksen in the promotion’s second-ever mixed-rules fight at ONE on Prime Video 6 on January 13.
Stamp hasn’t competed in a striking-only ruleset since 2020, but this fight will see her return to her roots to test herself against one of the top strikers in the world.
While she has been competing at the highest level in MMA, this is her opportunity to prove that she is still capable of fighting the greatest regardless of the martial arts ruleset.
Stamp Fairtex happy with her performance against Angela Lee despite loss
Stamp Fairtex may have come up short at ONE X in March, but her performance was good enough to silence some critics.
Earlier on in her run with the promotion, Stamp made history as the first fighter under the ONE banner to hold a Muay Thai and kickboxing world title simultaneously. She went on to transition into MMA and established her name as a legitimate competitor during the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix in 2021.
After running through all of her opponents, Stamp emerged as the No. 1 contender in the atomweight division, setting up a huge world title fight against the division’s queen, Angela Lee.
The two superstars met at ONE’s 10th-year anniversary event and Stamp was nearly able to finish her opponent with a body shot early on. After surviving the first round, Angela Lee was able to implement her grappling skills and secure her eighth career submission victory.
Despite failing to accomplish her goal of becoming a three-sport world champion, Stamp Fairtex left ONE X with her head held high following a great performance against a dominant queen.
Sharing her thoughts on the bout with ONE Championship, Stamp said:
“With my performance in that fight, I proved the haters wrong. Previously, a lot of people underestimated my MMA skills. I’ve been able to prove myself in fights and make those trolls silent. It was a great year.”
