Max Holloway's recent sitdown with renowned MMA journalist Kevin Iole has led to comparisons between him and Tony Ferguson. Just a day ago, 'Blessed' took part in an interview with Iole, during which his physical appearance drew public concern. Holloway looked noticeably drained.
His cheeks were sunken and he just seemed to be feeling the effects of his featherweight cut as the fight draws near. He didn't exhibit the same kind of energetic engagement in his interview with Iole, and it is only sensible given that he last fought at lightweight.
