ONE bantamweight rising star Stephen Loman might be one fight away from receiving a world title shot.
To get there, however, he needs to thread the eye of a needle by facing former ONE bantamweight king, Bibiano 'The Flash' Fernandes. This much-awaited clash between two of the best 145-pound fighters in ONE Championship will take place on November 18 at ONE on Prime Video 4.
In an interview with YouTube channel The MMA Super-Fan, Stephen Loman spoke about his preparations and how he's feeling leading up to the fight. On the topic of conditioning, Loman said:

"Right now my cardio’s getting better, and my conditioning is also improving. I’ll be working even harder next week so that I will be in peak shape by the last week of my training camp. When we fly to Singapore, the only thing I’ll need to worry about is my diet. I expect to be in the best shape of my career when I fight Bibiano."
When it comes to professional fighting or any athletic endeavor, cardio and overall conditioning is paramount to one's success. It doesn't matter how skilled and talented you are, if you are withered and tired, you won't be any better than a novice.
With just one glance at his physique, however, you can immediately tell whether Stephen Loman is supremely conditioned to fight anyone - former world champion or not.

Stephen Loman plans to beat Bibiano Fernandes in every aspect of the fight
Stephen Loman plans to use every bit of his supreme conditioning and more to beat Bibiano Fernandes soundly come November 18. From striking exchanges to grappling battles, Loman wants to best the former world champion in every way possible.
In an interview with ONE Championship, 'The Sniper' spoke about his plans for utterly dominating 'The Flash':
“I’m looking to win in any way possible. This is a very important fight for me. If I have the chance to knock him out, I will take it. Even taking him down is not impossible. My plan is to beat him in every area.”
Tall order for anyone - even a former world champion like Loman. Bibiano Fernandes, despite his age and mileage inside the ring, is not a man to be trifled with. Jusy by his back-and-forth bout with John Lineker back in March, one can see that 'The Flash' can still pose serious dangers. Stephen Loman better be on his A-game.
