Stephen Loman discusses the ONE Fight Night 7 main event
With the vacant ONE bantamweight world championship being fought over between Andrade and Lineker, top-ranked contender Stephen Loman recently broke down the matchup.
In an interview with The MMA Superfan, the 27-year-old discussed some of the options 'Hands of Stone' will have on February 24. 'The Sniper' said:
“Lineker showed good wrestling during that fight and if he gets the chance again, I think that he’ll try to wrestle with Andrade in the rematch. If he controls Andrade, I think he'll beat Fabricio by points.”
However, Loman stated that Fabricio Andrade possesses terrific striking ability. Speaking to ONE, he said:
“He’s Brazil’s answer to Conor McGregor, not just because he can expertly trash talk his opponents, but also because he is very precise with his striking. His timing is spot on, and he has excellent power.”
The talented Filipino-born MMA fighter concluded with:
"Between the third and fourth rounds, I believe one of them will fall down, and I’m leaning more on the idea that Andrade will be the one on the canvas."
