A former boxer issued a strange challenge to Jake Paul ahead of his fight with Mike Tyson this Friday, which resulted in him being ejected from the venue. The individual's remarks caused a stir among combat sports fans worldwide, with many taking a dig at him while others mocked Paul.
The person in question is Tony Bellew, who recently attended the Paul vs. Tyson pre-match press conference, which took place at Toyota Music Factory in Irving, Texas. Bellew caught everyone's attention by halting a reporter and calling out Paul to fight an elderly man who was standing next to the former champion wearing a green robe and boxing gloves.
The Brit was quickly interrupted by Ariel Helwani, who chastised Bellew for his antics as the latter was thrown out of the Arena. Combat sports Journalist Michael Benson took to X and shared the clip, writing:
''Tony Bellew just crashed the Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson final press conference to offer Jake a fight with an old man and has now been thrown out…''

One fan mocked Bellew, writing:
''I swear Tony sticks his nose in everywhere. I thought he was just a simple man and "goes home to his wife and kids".''
Another fan stated:
''I’d rather see him in with @Carl_Froch but I’d take Bellew as a close second''
Other fans wrote:
''I think Jake would struggle with the 107-year-old Great Grandfather''
''Ever notice why this happens at all Jake's press conferences. Because he is a clown. Handpicking opponents because once he fights a serious contender the hype train is over.''

Eddie Hearn isn't a fan of the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight
Jake Paul is set to face Mike Tyson in an eight-round heavyweight showdown this Friday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The announcement of their fight earlier this year didn't sit well with many, who bashed Paul for taking on an opponent much older than him.
One of the critics was popular boxing promoter Eddie Hearn, who gave his take on the Paul vs. Tyson matchup in a recent interview with Valuetainment. He said:
''I don't like it. I'm a boxing purist, boxing is a massive part of my life and I don't want to see a 58y old Mike Tyson fighting. It's dangerous...I don't want to see Jake Paul beat Mike Tyson at 58.''
