Israel Adesanya has given his prediction for the Alex Pereira vs. Jiří Procházka rematch at UFC 303. Unsurprisingly, 'The Last Stylebender' picked against his former rival, predicting Procházka to knock out the reigning light heavyweight kingpin in a stunner.
Despite Pereira's previous win over Procházka at UFC 295, which the Brazilian won via second-round TKO, Adesanya does not have any confidence in 'Poatan' repeating his past success this Saturday.
"I'm gonna go with Jiří, because we're the chosen few. But also, I feel like he might have learned from his mistake, 'cause people don't understand. And also, it makes things interesting, then it's a trifecta, and I won't be the only one who knocked this guy out."

Adesanya picking against Pereira is unsurprising, but fans were stunned by his reasoning and continued rhetoric against the Brazilian. One fan criticized Adesanya's attitude toward Pereira and even took a swipe at his upcoming middleweight title shot against Dricus du Plessis, labeling it undeserved.
"Dude is riding the high of an undeserved title shot and still acting like a salty ex. Just stop the gimmick man."
Another fan pointed out that Adesanya always picks against Pereira, having done so in the Brazilian's last three bouts.
"He picked Jan to beat Alex then Jiri the first go around then he picked Hill and now he picks Jiri again lol"
Others accused Adesanya of being blinded by his hatred for Pereira.
"This man has actually become an Alex hater"
This sentiment was echoed by another tweet.
"This is just an Alex hater rant"

Whether Adesanya will one day pick Pereira as the favorite for a matchup remains to be seen. However, he will watch the UFC 303 headliner with great interest.
Israel Adesanya tried to assist Jamahal Hill against Alex Pereira
Besides picking Jamahal Hill to beat Alex Pereira at UFC 300, which proved to be a disastrous prediction, Israel Adesanya also sought to help 'Sweet Dreams' against 'Poatan.' The two had a FaceTime call, during which Hill asked Adesanya for tips.
Unfortunately, no advice Adesanya could give him served him, as Hill ended up on the receiving end of a devastating knockout that has since left him seething from the sidelines.
