Hiroba Minowa vs Bokang Masunyane at ONE Fight Night 9
The two are set to meet on April 21 live on US primetime. Japan's Minowa previously discussed fighting Masunyane in an interview with ONE Championship. He said:
“I only want to become a World Champion. I know as long as I fight at ONE, I have to face strong opponents."
Hiroba Minowa added that his opponent Bokang Masunyane is a very impressive fighter. He continued:
"[Masunyane] is an amazing athlete. He has the best physical ability. He has the best agility. Even if we Japanese train hard, we cannot achieve his level of agility. I’m so jealous. But I feel like we have something in common with a humble and tough mentality.”
In addition to Hiroba Minowa and Bokang Masunyane, ONE Fight Night 9 will be headlined by a Muay Thai world title clash. Fans are keen to see Nong-O Hama and 'The General' Jonathan Haggerty face off for the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title.
