On Friday night, September 6, 'The General' will put his ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title on the line as he collides with Superlek in one of the most anticipated headliners in ONE Championship history.

Looking forward to all the action in The Mile High City at ONE 168: Denver, strawweight standout Lito Adiwang offered his take on the champion vs. champion clash during a recent interview with Tempo.

“Given that both are the best [in what they do] it’s hard to pick, but for me styles make fights every time."

It will be Jonathan Haggerty's second defense of the bantamweight belt after scoring an incredible come-from-behind KO against 'Demolition Man' Felipe Lobo at ONE Fight Night 19 in February. 'The General' rides into The Centennial State on a six-fight win streak, including knockouts against Thai icon Nong-O Hama and reigning ONE bantamweight MMA world titleholder Fabricio Andrade.

Superlek looks to move his undefeated streak to 11 with a win over Jonathan Haggerty

While Haggerty has been dominating both Muay Thai and kickboxing in the bantamweight division, Superlek goes into ONE 168: Denver having bested a who's who of talent at flyweight.

'The Kicking Machine' is on a 10-fight unbeaten streak with noteworthy wins over the likes of Nabil Anane, Japanese kickboxing legend Takeru Segawa, and Thai prospect Kongthoranee Sor Sommai.

However, it was Superlek's win over 'The Iron Man' Rodtang Jitmuangnon that set him apart from the pack and established him as one of the pound-for-pound best in the world.
