Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones certainly owes some of his success to his genes. 'Bones' comes from a family of gifted athletes, with both of his brothers being NFL stars.

Jones' elder brother Arthur and their youngest brother Chandler even went on to win the Super Bowl during 'Bones' dominant reign atop the UFC's 205 lbs division.

Arthur Jones was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the fifth round of the 2010 NFL Draft and went on to win Super Bowl XLVII with them. While the Syracuse defensive end only played two games in his rookie season, he had 4.5 sacks in the regular season in 2012. Arthur registered a key sack on 49ers Quarterback Colin Kaepernick the night the Ravens beat the San Francisco 49ers 34–31 to earn his lone Super Bowl Ring.

Meanwhile, Chandler Jones was drafted by the New England Patriots in the first round with the 21st overall selection in 2012. Chandler produced 45 tackles, 6 sacks, 5 passes defended, and 3 forced fumbles in 14 games of his rookie season. He recorded 43 tackles and 6 sacks in 10 games in the 2014 season when the Patriots defeated the Seattle Seahawks by a score of 28-24 in Super Bowl XLIX, earning Jones his first Super Bowl ring.

Jon Jones has his eyes on former champion after UFC 285

Jon Jones is set to make a return to the octagon after a three-year hiatus to face Ciryl Gane at UFC 285 next weekend. His heavyweight debut will also have the UFC heavyweight title on the line, which was left vacant by former champion Francis Ngannou's UFC exit.

Jon Jones also claims to have received a significant bump up in his eight-fight UFC contract, which led to his return. The 35-year-old is looking to fight twice or thrice this year if he can avoid serious injuries.

If he wins the heavyweight title at UFC 285, Jones would like to defend it against heavyweight GOAT contender Stipe Miocic. 'Bones' said during a Twitter Spaces with Kanpai Pandas:

“I’ve got my sights on Stipe Miocic. I think it just means the most. There’s a lot of guys out there, but for me, personally, for my legacy, to defeat the greatest heavyweight of all-time, it just means the most to me." h/t MMAFighting
