Kwon Won Il currently has one specific target in his sights that he's entirely focused on right now.
'Pretty Boy' is currently riding a three-fight win streak in the bantamweight MMA division to emerge as the rightful challenger to the throne. That has set him up perfectly for a rematch with the world champion, Fabricio Andrade, with the fight being locked in for ONE 170 in Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
The No. 3-ranked contender's one and only goal right now is leaving the Thai capital with the world title on Jan. 24, but he also knows that becoming champion would open up a lot of doors.
Having already faced a lot of the top bantamweight contenders, racking up a couple more title defenses would be the first thing on the agenda. However, as he spoke about in a recent interview with Anything Goes, the world title challenger believes that he would then move on to some potential super fights.

Competing against other world champions is clearly something that motivates and excites him as a potential option down the line. Kwon Won Il said:
"So, super fights with the champions there. There are so many great options. But right now, thinking about it, if it ever happens, super fights sound the best."

Kwon Won Il isn't overlooking Fabricio Andrade
Kwon Won Il isn't looking past Fabricio Andrade and frankly, it would be impossible for him to even do that.
He was finished by 'Wonder Boy' back in 2022 when they met for the first time at ONE 158, and has had to rebuild his way back to the top.
The challenger knows that the returning champion is a force to be reckoned with especially when it comes to the striking exchanges.
Learning from his past experiences will be crucial in this fight if he's going to dethrone the divisional king on Jan. 24.
