ONE Super Series world champions Nong-O Gaiyanghadao, Superbon Singha Mawynn, and Petchtanong Petchfergus recently appeared in an Instagram post showing off their gold. The trio are three of the five reigning world champions in the promotion’s all-striking divisions. It's safe to say that Muay Thai and kickboxing belong to the Southeast Asian nation.
It has been like that for decades and Nong-O, Petchtanong, and Superbon - together with Rodtang and Tawanchai - are keeping the tradition of Thai greatness alive. It seems that everyone else in the world is trying their luck against Thai fighters and over and over again, they come up short.
Here's the Instagram post:
"We will make Thai people proud again and again 🇹🇭"

Nong-O is one of the most dominant ONE Super Series world champions today, defending his ONE bantamweight Muay Thai belt six straight times. He will be defending it again in ONE's ground-breaking event, ONE Lumpinee 1, against former world champion Alaverdi Ramazanov.
As for Superbon, he recently had a successful world title defense of his featherweight kickboxing throne. He avenged his last loss to Marat Grigorian at ONE X this year. Superbon will defend the strap once again against ONE featherweight kickboxing world Grand Prix champion Chingiz Allazov at ONE on Prime Video 6.
Petchtanong is the most recent addition to the growing list of Thai striking world champions in ONE Championship. He dominated former bantamweight kickboxing king Hiroki Akimoto at ONE 163.
Petchtanong Petchfergus upsets Hiroki Akimoto to become the new ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion
In the main event of ONE 163, Hiroki Akimoto defended his ONE bantamweight kickboxing world title for the first time against a living legend in Petchtanong Petchfergus. With 357 career wins and multiple titles across different promotions, the Thai veteran looked to add another feather in his cap by winning a ONE world title last Saturday.
Both strikers came out of the opening bell trading leg and body kicks. With the first round being tightly-contested, the two warriors picked up the pace in the second frame. The Thai contender found significant success connecting hard roudhouse kicks to Akimoto's body as the then-world champion ended the second round with a glancing head kick.
Halfway through the fight, the southpaw Petchtanong found a home for his roundhouse kick, either to Akimoto's body or head. By the end of the third frame, the Japanese's right side was so badly beaten up that it looked like raw meat. Still, Akimoto continued to fight, but the wily Thai veteran brutalized the Japanese fighter's body even more.
Heading into the final round, the Thai appeared to be in complete control of the bout, stifling Akimoto’s offense in every area. Akimoto showed his heart and toughness in the final round, but the Thai warrior continued attacking the body. Once the final bell rang, it was clear that ONE had a new bantamweight kickboxing world champion.
