ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion Superbon Singha Mawynn does not plan on letting his guard down, both literally and figuratively, against his next challenger Chingiz Allazov.
The 32-year-old is set for his second world title defense in the main event of ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video. The event will go down on January 13 from the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
As always, Amazon Prime Video subscribers in North America will be able to witness this stacked card live and free of charge.

In an interview with ONE Championship, Superbon had nothing but prais for his hard-hitting foe.
Moreover, the Thai superstar said Allazov is on par with the stiff competition he has faced inside the circle so far:
“Surely, he is a strong opponent. He just won the World Grand Prix tournament. He is the same level as Giorgio Petrosyan, Marat, or even Sittichai. He is one of the best kickboxers in ONE.”
Despite earning the world champion’s adulation, Allazov must be wary of being too complacent. Superbon vows to be as sharp as ever once they finally lock horns.
The Bangkok, Thailand, native added:
“But still, for me, he’s not better than Petrosyan, Marat, or Sittichai. If I’m not careless I will never lose to him. And careless is not in my dictionary.”
The guaranteed barnburner of a match between these two striking savants is finally going down after several delays. Allazov won the silver belt back in March at ONE X and was supposed to challenge for the throne in October.
‘Chinga’, however, had to pull out due to an injury. The match was rescheduled for ONE’s 2022 year-end card, but it was the world champion who backed out this time around due to an illness.
For sure, Superbon and Allazov will be out to prove that they are worth the wait.
Superbon says this is the perfect time for Allazov fight
As frustrating as the postponements were for Superbon and Allazov, both fighters continued to sharpen their fangs during their respective downtimes.
With almost a week left before they butt heads, the reigning world champion shared his belief that the delays happened for a reason. He thinks it’s only fitting that their high-stakes striking war will open up the year for ONE Championship.
The Thai wrecking machine said in the same interview:
"Both Chingiz and I are in the top form. This fight will be super exciting. He wants my belt and I want to beat every contender in the ranking. It’s now or never for me and Chingiz. If we miss this chance; I don’t know when we will have a chance to fight again. I would say that this fight is the fight every kickboxing fan must watch.”
