ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion Superbon is not only looking to dethrone Tawanchai PK Saenchai in their ONE featherweight Muay Thai world title clash at ONE 170 on January 24 inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
The striking veteran also aims to begin the new calendar year on a high note.
Speaking with ONE Championship ahead of their championship rematch, the Thai superstar laid down his plans for 2025, especially when he gets the job done against Tawanchai, as he stated:
"I think if I do well in my first fight in 2025, it should be a good momentum for me to have success throughout this year. Maybe defend my kickboxing title or have a series of events. I think it will be a good start to defeat Tawanchai in the first fight of the year."

Following his defeat at the hands of Tawanchai from their first meeting in December 2023 at ONE Friday Fights 46, Superbon won his next two fights against Marat Grigorian at ONE Friday Fights 58 and Jo Nattawut at ONE Friday Fights 81.
Superbon claims that he has a counter against Tawanchai's two signature moves at ONE 170
The Supebon Training Camp representative claims that he already has an answer to Tawanchai's signature kicks and teeps on fight night, saying that he already figured out a counter to it.
He explained this during the event's press conference, saying:
"In the first fight, what I learned the most is that Tawanchai is someone who can kick really fast and can do teeps or push kicks very precisely. So I went back and did my homework, and I believe that if I can face these two moves from Tawanchai, then I can beat him this Friday."
ONE 170 will be available via watch.onefc.com. The blockbuster card will take place on Friday, Jan. 24, inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
