ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world champion and current first-ranked featherweight Muay Thai contender Superbon of Thailand is thrilled every time a Thai fighter gets to perform on the big stage.

But given that there are so many great fighters from Thailand out there, two countrymen going at it in the ring simply cannot be avoided.

Recently, much has been said about a potential third fight between the returning 'The Angel Warrior' Panpayak Jitmuangnon and two-sport, two-division world champion 'The Kicking Machine' Superlek Kiatmoo9.

Panpayak said that he would be the one to stop Superlek's incredible run in ONE Championship.

Speaking to the South China Morning Post in a recent interview, Superbon commented on their rivalry and shared his thoughts on the ordeal.

Superbon said:

"I think not now. Right now, I like [watching] Superlek everytime he fights. But Panpayak stopped fighting for a long time. Before, yes [he can beat Superlek], but now they cannot be compared to each other because what the body feels [and] the experience in the ring is different. But if you compare Superlek with all the other fighters in the weight class, I think he can fight with many of them."

Superbon feels Panpayak may not be ready at the moment. But who knows, in just a few fights, this mega matchup could be one for the books.
