Former featherweight kickboxing world champion Superbon is back

After taking some time away from the spotlight following his last fight, Superbon Singha Mawynn is now back home in Thailand.

The former featherweight kickboxing world champion suffered a tough defeat last time he stepped inside the Circle, losing his title to Chingiz Allazov via second-round knockout.

Understandably, things have been quiet from that side ever since the events of ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video. However, it looks like the former world champion is in good spirits and is enjoying the beautiful beaches of his home country.

On his Instagram, Superbon posted a photo of himself back at the beaches of Thailand, a place which is not just his home - it’s where he has developed into one of the best strikers on the planet and where he demonstrates that inside the Circle.

With what is sure to go down as one of the most impressive performances of the year, Chingiz Allazov dethroned Superbon Singha Mawynn at ONE Fight Night 6 on January 14th.

Handing the ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion his first loss in nearly four years, ‘Chinga’ didn’t just shock the world, he left jaws on the floor with his second-round knockout.

The consensus viewpoint going into the fight was that Allazov’s advantages lay in the boxing department, meaning he needed to somehow negate the kicking game of the defending champion.

From the very first bell, the Belarusian challenger did exactly that, walking his opponent down and forcing Superbon into a scrap. Chingiz Allazov’s power was on full display here with his punches landing with far greater impact than that of his opponents. With a phenomenal sequence, he dropped the Thai legend.

Whilst he was able to beat the count, it was only a matter of time before the champion was on the mat once again before being dropped for a third time that sent him down for the count, stunning the entirety of the Impact Arena in Bangkok.

In what was a very close fight on paper, Chingiz Allazov absolutely dominated the contest in each and every way before finishing the No.1-ranked pound-for-pound kickboxer on the planet.
