Superbon will not take 'Smokin' Jo Nattawut lightly in their ONE Friday Fights 81 showdown on Sept. 27. That evening, the ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world champion collides with his compatriot in a featherweight Muay Thai contest.

Despite being listed as a favorite, the No.1-ranked divisional contender has plenty of respect for what his foe brings to the table. In particular, he lists the Thai Top Team athlete's experience as one of his standout traits.

Speaking to the South China Morning Post, Superbon shared:

"I think he has good hand skills - good boxing. Jo has a lot of experience against top fighters in the featherweight division."

True enough, 'Smokin' Jo has never failed to put on a show across all his fights under the ONE Championship spotlight.

The 35-year-old has featured in 12 matches against the likes of Giorgio Petrosyan, Samy Sana, Chingiz Allazov, and ONE featherweight Muay Thai world champion Tawanchai PK Saenchai in Muay Thai and kickboxing.

Though he has had his share of defeats, the WMC Muay Thai world champion never backs down from a war.

The same, however, can be said for Superbon. The former featherweight kickboxing divisional king always brings his A-game when he takes to the ONE Circle. And with both men sharing plenty in common in their striking arsenal, fans shouldn't blink when they lock horns next Friday, Sept. 27.

ONE Friday Fights 81 will be available via pay-per-view at watch.onefc.com. The promotion's upcoming card inside the Mecca of Muay Thai broadcasts live in Asia primetime on Friday, Sept. 27.

Superbon believes Jo Nattawut win will earn him shot at Muay Thai gold

Should he come out on top against the No.2-ranked star, Superbon is confident he'll be the next man in line to fight for the ONE featherweight Muay Thai world title.

In the same interview, the 34-year-old striking specialist shared:

"Of course, I need to fight Jo in this fight to challenge for the world title again. I don’t know which one between Jo and Tawanchai is going to win, but [the] next title fight, for sure, is going to be me."

'Smokin' Jo will make a quick turnaround after his contest against Superbon for a rubber match against Tawanchai at ONE 169: Atlanta on Nov. 8. The divisional king has won both contests heading into their trilogy inside State Farm Arena.
