ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion Superbon has acknowledged that Tawanchai PK Saenchai's kicks are one of the most lethal techniques from his striking arsenal, and he was able to decipher it from their first championship meeting.
In a recent interview with the world's largest martial arts organization, Superbon admitted that those kicks had given him a hard time but promised to find a counter against them in their upcoming rematch at ONE 170 on Jan. 24, inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
The incoming challenger explained:
"For Tawanchai's speedy kicks, I still need to work hard on it, to prepare the ways I should apply to handle those. That's something I still need to work on."

A win for the 34-year-old Thai superstar will allow him to join an exclusive list of fighters who have become two-sport world champions in the world's largest martial arts organization.
At the same time, it will allow him to avenge his previous loss to the PK Saenchai Muaythaigym representative.
Superbon is optimistic about his chances to win in his championship rematch with Tawanchai at ONE 170
The Superbon Training Camp athlete was battling an injury when he first fought Tawanchai in December 2023 at ONE Friday Fights 46, which resulted in a close majority decision loss.
Over a year after that first encounter, Superbon is now more confident of his chances of securing the victory over Tawanchai.
In his opinion, he thinks he is equipped with more finesse and technical prowess than the reigning ONE featherweight Muay Thai king.
He explained this in a recent talk with ONE Championship, where he stated:
"I am confident that I have better and smoother skills and techniques, combined with more physical fitness compared to the previous fight, I'm sure everything will come out perfectly."
ONE 170 will be available via watch.onefc.com. The blockbuster event will take place on Friday, January 24, inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
