Reigning and undisputed ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion Superbon of Thailand has a few choice words for titleholders who don't want to fight.
The 34-year-old Superbon Training Camp founder is running high on emotion ahead of this weekend's clash against fellow Thai fighter Tawanchai PK Saenchai in Bangkok, and needless to say, shots were fired.
He told ONE Championship:

"I have been in kickboxing rules for a long time, fought everyone and have proven that I can be number 1 in kickboxing rules for many years. For me, I am a champion now. I can fight anyone. I don't ask whether my opponent is good or not. No matter who he is, I am ready to fight anyone. I feel that a champion must be ready to fight everyone. A champ who picks his fights is pathetic."
However, these shots are likely directed towards former ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion Chingiz Allazov, not Tawanchai.
Allazov knocked Superbon out in January 2023 to take the gold, made one title defense months later, and just recently announced his retirement. This came as ONE Championship tried to book a unification bout between then-interim champ Superbon and regular champ Allazov.
Superbon has called Allazov out and urges him to return to action so they can settle matters in the ring.

The two lock horns in the main event at ONE 170, which will broadcast live from the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, January 24.
