The Denver meeting between Superlek Kiatmoo9 and Jonathan Haggerty was a collision of two unstoppable forces, but it was the Thai megastar who came out unscathed at the end of ONE 168: Denver.

Superlek, the challenger in the match, entered Ball Arena this past weekend with the ONE flyweight kickboxing world title over his shoulder. He would leave the Denver Nuggets' home stadium with another golden strap as he forcibly took the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world championship from Haggerty in stunning fashion.

Superlek knocked Haggerty out in less than a minute to reach champ-champ status, and it was a victory he immediately shared with his country.

Taking to Instagram, the new ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion wrote:

"Thank you for all the encouragement you have given me today. Thank you very much 🇹🇭. This belt used to belong to the Thai people 🇹🇭. My success today is dedicated to all the Thai fans who are cheering for me today 🇹🇭🙏. "

Although he came out on top, Superlek temporarily fought off the back foot in the early moments of his fight against Haggerty this past weekend.

Haggerty was the one launching and landing the bigger shots in the opening exchange, but a fatal error led him to run straight into Superlek's counter elbow, which ended the match 49 seconds in.

Superlek now holds the ONE flyweight kickboxing and bantamweight Muay Thai world titles, making him the second fighter in ONE Championship history to, simultaneously, hold world titles across two sports and two divisions.

Roman Kryklia is the first to hold the distinction, and he currently holds the ONE light heavyweight kickboxing and heavyweight Muay Thai world titles.

Superlek ready to defend his belts against anyone ONE Championship throws at him

Superlek is arguably in the best form of his long and storied career.

The Thai megastar is on an unstoppable 11-fight winning streak, and he plans to add multiple world title defenses in that run.

In his post-fight interview with ONE Championship commentator Mitch Chilson, Superlek said he'll defend his ONE flyweight kickboxing and bantamweight Muay Thai world titles against anyone brave enough to face him inside the circle:

"My next fight is up to [ONE Championship CEO] Chatri [Sityodtong]. The flyweight division is mine. I'm ready to defend it. The bantamweight division - mine as well. I am ready to defend all of my territory."
