Superlek expects to see a much different version of Jonathan Haggerty than the one he met all the way back in 2018.
After putting together a stellar run in 2023, earning five-straight victories, including a spectacular unanimous decision victory over Rodtang Jitmuangnon in the Muay Thai Fight of the Year, 'The Kicking Machine' will look to make his 2024 even better. He's already off to a good start, having scored a big win over Japanese kickboxing icon Takeru Segawa at ONE 165 in January.
On Friday, September 6, Superlek will head to The Mile High City—Denver, Colorado—for a highly anticipated title tilt with reigning two-sport king Jonathan Haggerty.

Having met and defeated 'The General' once before, Superlek expects a significantly upgraded version of Haggerty when the two tussle at ONE 168 later this year.
"And I feel like Haggerty has improved so much from that fight," he told the South China Morning Post. "His striking, his power, his speed, everything. He looks great. And he's been a really great fit for bantamweight. He's perfect for bantamweight. He just looks really good."

Superlek steps inside the Circle against Kongthoranee at ONE Friday Fights 68 on June 28
Before Superlek heads to The Centennial State to challenge Haggerty for the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world championship, he'll return to the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium for a scrap with one of the promotion's most exciting prospects.
On Friday, June 28, 'The Kicking Machine' will meet two-time Rajadamnern Stadium champion Kongthoranee Sor Sommai at ONE Friday Fights 68.
Making his promotional debut last year, Kongthoranee has amassed an impressive 8-1 record including seven straight victories and three highlight-reel knockouts. If he can manage to bag a win over Superlek, he'll immediately thrust himself into the flyweight Muay Thai title picture.
ONE Championship will present ONE Friday Fights 68 live from Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand on Friday, June 28.
