Just like any professional fighter, or any professional athlete for that matter, Superlek Kiatmoo9 does extensive homework before his matches. The reigning ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion will defend his gold against Rodtang Jitmuangnon in the main event of ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video this March 24, US primetime.
Superlek knows that fighting ‘The Iron Man’ might just be the toughest challenge he’ll get in ONE Championship, that’s why he’s left no stone unturned in his preparation.
In an interview with ONE Championship, the Thai star said he’s done the proper research not just on the gym but also in front of the screen. He’s done so much video work that Superlek believes he’s found the holes in Rodtang’s still impenetrable armor.
“I have prepared some cool tricks after I returned from the U.S. seminar. I watched Rodtang’s videos and noticed holes in his game. I'm preparing a surprise for him. This is all I can tell.”

Superlek boasts an impressive 8-1 record in ONE Championship, and his only loss was against Ilias Ennahachi when he challenged for the ONE flyweight kickboxing world title back in 2021.
Since that defeat, ‘The Kicking Machine’ went on a run of four straight wins. The last win in that streak was against Daniel Puertas for the vacant ONE flyweight kickboxing world title at ONE Fight Night 6 this past January.
Rodtang, meanwhile, is a perfect 13-0 in his striking matches in the circle and is also the reigning ONE flyweight Muay Thai world champion. The Thai megastar’s last win was a dominant unanimous decision win over China’s Jiduo Yibu in the same card where Superlek won the gold.
ONE Fight Night 8 emanates from the Singapore Indoor Stadium and will be available live and for free to all Prime Video subscribers in North America.
