Despite everything going on in Rodtang Jitmuangnon’s personal life at the moment, ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 still expects to face the best version of his compatriot in the circle.
The highly-anticipated champion vs. champion clash between the two Thai megastars will headline ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video on March 24, inside the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
‘The Kicking Machine,’ who will be defending his flyweight kickboxing throne for the first time, knows Rodtang has continued to sharpen his fangs behind closed doors in anticipation of their long-awaited matchup.

Superlek told ONE Championship in an exclusive interview:
“No, [he hasn’t let it affect him]. I believe that every fighter has discipline. No one wants to step into the ring and lose. He has his unique training program. He knows when he should practice and when to handle other business.”
To say that Rodtang Jitmuagnong has had a busy start to 2023 will be a massive understatement. After beating the breaks off Jiduo Yibu at ONE Fight Night 6 last January, ‘The Iron Man’ will now take flight in his quest for two-sport supremacy.
He’ll also be part of the promotion’s historic United States on-site debut at ONE Fight Night 10 in May, where he’ll defend his flyweight Muay Thai throne against a hungry Edgar Tabares.
On top of that, Rodtang’s life outside the circle has also been the talk of the town as of late. The 25-year-old recently got ordained as a Buddhist monk. He also tied the knot with fellow fighter Aida Looksaikongdin in the month of February.
As far as Superlek is concerned, his compatriot’s new-found love life will only ignite him to become an even better version of himself. Moreover, ‘The Kicking Machine’ knows Rodtang is a consummate professional and will always prioritize his duties as one of the best martial artists in the world.
ONE Fight Night 8: Superlek vs. Rodtang will air live on US Primetime and is free for all existing Amazon Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
