Current undisputed ONE flyweight kickboxing and bantamweight Muay Thai world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 is ramping up the preparation for the first defense of his Muay Thai crown on Jan. 24 at ONE 170.
Superlek will be welcoming the challenge of undefeated challenger and number two-ranked contender Nico Carrillo inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
ONE Championship recently posted a glimpse of his training on their Instagram account, and they wrote the clip's caption with:

In the video, 'The Kicking Machine' was seen practicing his punches to the body, which he ended with a spinning elbow that made the pad holder wince in pain. He hopes to use this against Carrillo on fight night.

Following the official announcement by ONE Championship of his world championship showdown with the Scottish star, the Kiatmoo9 Gym representative had an interview with the South China Morning Post to share his thoughts about the news.
The 28-year-old striking superstar also invited the fans to watch his fight with Carrillo because he guaranteed them that it would keep them on the edge of their seats, and claimed:
"I'd like all the fans to come and see this fight with Nico Carrillo, as it'll be exciting for sure."
