With two fights in quick succession on the horizon, Superlek Kiatmoo9 knows he'd need to manage things wisely to ensure he heads into both fixtures at 100 percent.

The ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion is locked in for his second fight of 2024, as he is scheduled to take on Kongthoranee Sor Sommai in a flyweight Muay Thai duel at ONE Friday Fights 68 on June 28.

Slightly over two months later, 'The Kicking Machine' will square off against Jonathan Haggerty at ONE 168: Denver in an attempt to gain the latter's bantamweight Muay Thai crown and complete his two-sport mission on the global stage.

Given that he will have a lot more on the line in his Haggerty tie, which goes down inside the Ball Arena on September 6, Superlek believes he might be forced to tread with caution when he locks horns with the ONE Friday Fights contract winner in an all-Thai encounter inside the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium next week.

The Kiatmoo9 Gym megastar had this to say in an interview with the South China Morning Post (SCMP) last month:

"I would say, because I will have to fight Haggerty, I need to make this game [against Kongthoranee] as less damaging as possible."

Superlek grateful for growing fanbase since joining the ONE Championship roster

In the same interview with SCMP, Superlek also discussed his growing fanbase since he joined the world's largest martial arts organization back in 2019.

The Thai kickboxing and Muay Thai specialist, who owns a collective 13-1 record across both disciplines, shared:

"Of course, I'm happy that more people know me now. More people notice me. More people are happy about my performance. It's just that feeling that like, oh, you did your job, and then people like it. It's a good feeling."

'The Kicking Machine' will be back in action at ONE Friday Fights 68, which will be available via PPV at watch.onefc.com.

Meanwhile, tickets for ONE 168: Denver, where Superlek runs it back with Haggerty, can be purchased here.
