Superlek names his all-time favorite rock band

'The Kicking Machine' Superlek Kiatmoo9 will be looking to defend his ONE flyweight kickboxing world title on March 24 at ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video. To help him get prepared, the Thai-born striker likes to jam out with some tunes.

Superlek's favorite rock band is a Thai group named Potato. While speaking in an interview with ONE, 'The Kicking Machine' explained:

"I listen to all kinds of music— folk songs, country music. My favorite band is Potato [Thai pop rock band]."

Thai rock band Potato has won numerous awards for their music, including Best Group Artist and Best Album of the Year with various publications. In 2011, they were awarded song of the year with Mai roo ja ar ti bai yang ngai (ไม่รู้จะอธิบายยังไง).

Superlek returns to defend his throne

With the ONE flyweight kickboxing world title on the line, 'The Kicking Machine' Superlek Kiatmoo9 is hoping to vanquish his next opponent 'Mini T' Danial Williams on March 24.

Ahead of his upcoming fight, 'The Kicking Machine' trained alongside Muay Thai legend Sam-A Gaiyanghadao. On the training camp, the Thai-born kickboxing world champion remarked:

“I [learned] a lot from Sam-A, too. He is a very diligent person. And the way he works hard automatically pushes me to follow him. I learned a lot from sparring with him. He gave me advice to use my shin effectively like his. Their teachings are very good. Now it depends on me, how well I can apply it in the real situation.”

Thailand's 'The Kicking Machine' is confident heading into his world title bout against Thai-Australian Williams. Fans are expecting a barnburner when these strikers two throw down in the ONE circle at ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video.

After 'The Iron Man' Rodtang Jitmuangnon dropped out of the fight due to injury, 'Mini T' stepped up to the plate as a late replacement.
