Seasoned veterans proved their worth with jaw-dropping finishes that earned them a quick night in the office.
Meanwhile, ONE world champions protected their coveted gold with moments of brilliance to prove why they're truly the best in the business.
Oh, and there were challengers who attained glory with their insane one-hit power.
It was hard to narrow down this list to five, but here are the best knockouts in ONE Championship across Muay Thai, MMA, and kickboxing from an action-packed 2024.
#1. Superlek demolishes Jonathan Haggerty in less than a minute
Superlek Kiatmoo9 got another perfect year in ONE Championship out of the books with a sensational sub-minute finish against Jonathan Haggerty at ONE 168: Denver to end his campaign as a two-sport, two-division world champion.
The defending king went guns blazing in search of the spectacular inside the Ball Arena. But all it took was for Superlek to crack him with a short-ranged elbow that flattened 'The General' in 49 seconds.
His victory earned him an 11th straight triumph in the promotion.
The 2024 ONE Championship Muay Thai and Kickboxing Fighter of the Year will be back in action at ONE 172 to unify his newly acquired ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title against the winner of the interim world title battle between No. 2-ranked Nico Carrillo and No. 5-ranked Nabil Anane at ONE 170.
#2. Superbon sends Jo Nattawut to the shadow realm inside the 'Mecca of Muay Thai'
Superbon did what he does best in his featherweight Muay Thai joust alongside 'Smokin' Jo Nattawut at ONE Friday Fights 81.
The two ultra-aggressive ONE Championship strikers went at each other from the get-go, trading bombs that drew an instant reaction from the sold-out audience inside the revered Lumpinee Stadium.
Ultimately, it was the ONE interim featherweight kickboxing world champion who had the last laugh. The 34-year-old launched forward with a speed-defying elbow that separated his Thai compatriot from his senses at 1:43 of the opening canto.
Superbon looks to continue where he had left off versus Tawanchai PK Saenchai at ONE 170, where he runs it back against the generational talent for his featherweight Muay Thai crown.
#3. Tang Kai lets his hands fly in statement finish of Tang Kai
In a battle between two of the most ferocious finishers in the featherweight division in ONE Championship, titleholder Tang Kai got his hand raised with his 15th career knockout at the expense of interim champion Thanh Le.
Though things got off to a slow start at ONE 166: Qatar, the Chinese megastar shifted into gear in the third round. From there, a finish looked imminent whenever he stepped forward behind his reputable hands.
The Sunkin International Fight Club athlete caught the American-Vietnamese with rounds of combinations before a massive right hand and a final salvo of strikes on the canvas ended things at 4:48 of the stanza.
Up next for the ONE featherweight MMA world champion is a main event billing at ONE Fight Night 27, where he goes toe-to-toe with No.5-ranked Akbar Abdullaev.
#4. Amy Pirnie's rocket of a left sleeps Yu Yau Pui
Scottish stand-up specialist Amy Pirnie arrived in ONE Championship with a reputation as one of the most hard-hitting atomweights — and she delivered as promised at ONE Fight Night 24 in August.
The 31-year-old had it all to do against Yu Yau Pui, who was on a 6-0 roll in ONE Championship's weekly ONE Friday Fight series.
Still, nothing fazed the Inferno Muay Thai fighter. Pirnie countered the Chinese star's onslaught with a left hook that bagged her a walk-off KO in a mere 49 seconds.
#5. Akbar Abdullaev shows Halil Amir no mercy to book his shot at gold
Undefeated Kyrgyzstan talent Akbar Abdullaev couldn't have wished for a better way to book his ticket to ONE gold with a third successive highlight-reel win over Halil Amir at ONE Fight Night 22.
The 27-year-old was up against Amir's lethal punching power from the get-go, but he reminded his opposite number that he's simply levels above him when it comes to striking.
The ONE Championship superstar eventually got the job done with a powerful left hook that floored the confident Turk. Just to make sure everything was in place, Abdullaev added another big right hand to confirm the finish at 2:52 of round two.
